Answer 1 No. Reliability cannot and should not limit it's affiliates from taking contracts from customers who have found them by means other than finding them by searching our database online. If however, the client found you as a result of a search of our database, then you, and the client are contractually bound to use Reliability Inspectors Inc as the contract administrator.
Answer to question 2. Absolutely! For years, clients have been the ones who state the rates and terms of the contracts. Reliability is different. Affiliates can, if they chose to do so, can state their rates and contractual terms to the clients. Clients might make a counter offer. Reliability moderates the conversation between the clients and the affiliates.
Answer to question 3. Reliability gives it's affiliate's complete control over who gets to see their data. Before releasing an affiliate's data to a potential client, Reliability must receive permission from the affiliate, in the form of an email from them, before releasing their data to the client. We inform the affiliate that a client is interested in seeing their data. We also describe the position that the client needs filled, and its location. The affiliate then decides if he or she wishes to pursue the offer, and if the so, they send an email, giving Reliability permission to release their data to the client.
Answer to question 4. The owners of Reliability Inspectors Inc. are not bookkeepers or accountants. We do not want to become tangled up in financial errors. For that reason, Reliability Inspectors Inc. has entered into a contractual agreement with an Edmonton based bookkeeping company to look after the day to day transactions between the clients and the affiliates. The bookkeeping company verifies that the hours on site claimed by the affiliate match the clients records. In some cases, the client may require that the hours worked by the affiliate are verified on a daily basis. Similarly, if the affiliate has expenses to claim, the bookkeeping company verifies that the client approved the expense, prior to the affiliate incurring that expense. The contract is written in a way that the affiliate bills the client directly. but allows Reliability to add a mark up on the affiliate's invoice. That mark up includes the cost charged by the bookkeeping company. The client sends payment to Reliability, and upon receipt of payment, Reliability pays the affiliate the amount of their invoice. Reliability also uses the services of a reputable accounting firm to make sure we are keeping our books in good order. Reliability also acts as the moderator between clients and affiliates when they are negotiating rates and contractual terms
Answer to question 5. Reliability will be purchasing a subscription to a library of Codes from ASME, API, AMPP, CSA, NBIC and others, This allows our affiliates legal access to our library of Codes, a library that would be unaffordable to individual affiliates. The affiliates can also print out these codes, and their email address within Reliability's domain will be shown at the bottom of each page printed. For a very long time now, independent contacting inspectors have had a hard time getting legal access to the codes they require in order to do a great job as an inspector. Being affiliated with Reliability Inspectors Inc. solves that problem, and does so at a cost that is affordable. As an approved affiliate, you have the status of being approved as meeting our very high standards, and being listed anonymously on a database that can be viewed by clients all over the world.
